e. The “Click-to-Chat” Functionality of Telegram, Whatsapp, Viber

Our website offers a “Click-to-Chat” feature that allows you to easily get in touch with us through your preferred messenger service, such as Telegram, Whatsapp, or Viber, without the need to save our phone number in your address book.

When you click this button, an assistant is initiated, linking your installed messenger app to this feature. Once you access the function in your messenger, a chat with us opens automatically.

When you use the “Click-to-Chat” button, our phone number is automatically populated, but it is not added to your contact list.

If you don’t have the corresponding messenger or accidentally triggered the function, you can simply close the assistant. In this case, no data will be collected.

By using the “Click-to-Chat” function of Telegram, Whatsapp, Viber, you send us your phone number, which we exclusively use to respond to your inquiry and then delete. Your data will not be further processed.

Please note that the privacy policies of your messenger services apply in addition to these terms.

6. Collection of general data and information

Our website collects general data and information with each access, such as the IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL through which you may have accessed our website, date and time of access, and similar data. There is also an option to subscribe to a newsletter, where the data provided by you in the input mask, such as name and email address, will be transmitted to us. Additionally, the following data is collected during the registration process: IP address of the accessing computer, date, and time of registration. Your consent is obtained for processing the data during the registration process, with reference to the privacy policy (opt-in). The newsletter is sent based on the sale of goods or services. The data is not disclosed to third parties in connection with the processing for sending newsletters and is solely used for that purpose.

8.  Registration on our website

You have the option to register on our website. The personal data collected can be found in the input mask. The data collected in this way is only collected and stored for our own purposes. Disclosure will only occur within the scope of order processing (postal services, etc.) and to the necessary extent (data minimization). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The IP address, date, and time are also stored during registration.

10. Legal basis/Retention period of the data

The data processing is carried out upon your request and is necessary for the processing of the order and the mutual fulfillment of obligations under the contract, based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

The personal data collected by us for contract fulfillment/processing will be stored until the expiration of the statutory retention period for entrepreneurs (usually 10 years) and then deleted unless we are legally obliged to store them for a longer period, for example, based on Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, due to tax and commercial storage and documentation obligations, or you have consented to storage beyond that period based on Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The tax retention periods and the periods under German law (cf. § 257(4) HGB) are 10 years. Furthermore, there is the possibility of retaining the data for defense against possible liability cases for up to 30 years.

11. Data subject rights

You have the right to:

  • Withdraw your consent given to us at any time (Art. 7(3) of the GDPR). This will result in us no longer being able to continue the data processing based on this consent in the future.
  • Request information about the personal data we process concerning you (Art. 15 of the GDPR). In particular, you can request information about the purposes of processing, the categories of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of the right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, or objection, the right to lodge a complaint, the source of your data if not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and meaningful information about its details.

  • Request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (Art. 17 of the GDPR).
  • Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure, and we no longer need the data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR (Art. 18 of the GDPR).
  • Receive the personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format or request the transmission of those data to another controller (Art. 20 of the GDPR).
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 of the GDPR). As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority at your usual place of residence or our registered office.
